The Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Wellington School of Business and Government (WSBG), and Heads of School for Accounting and Commercial Law, Economics and Finance, and Information Systems have graciously offered a limited number of membership fee scholarships to qualifying students who join the Wellington Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi by 30 April 2021.
These scholarships will cover full membership fees for recipients and will be offered as a one-off under two categories: Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES), and Hardship Scholarship (HS). Qualifying students for AES will receive a full membership fees scholarship from their school’s funding and will be notified directly by their school. The HS scholarship is open to qualifying students with a GPA of B+ and above in their selected major. Recipients of HS will also receive full membership fees funding support from the Dean of WSBG.
Expression of interest for HS can be easily made along with the membership application. A short statement in support of your application for the HS would be required when completing the application.
All successful applicants would be contacted via email no later than 3 May 2021.
- To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must meet BAP Wellington candidate membership requirements.
- Students applying for HS would have to provide a short statement indicative of unexpected financial hardship. Given the limited budget available priority will be given to applicants experiencing relatively severe hardship.
